Could you check if Discovery Live is running on the intended GPU and not the default GPU on your machine?
For this, right-click on Discovery Live icon on the desktop and select "Run with graphics processor" and select High-performance NVIDIA processor. See below image.

 

If this doesn't help, I would recommend reinstalling the application as follows:

  1. Uninstall all Discovery products
  2. Temporarily disable any antivirus, antimalware, and/or Windows Defender functions
  3. Ensure that you have full administrator privileges on the PC
  4. Right click the Discovery installer, select Run as Administrator, and follow the prompts to complete the installation
