If it does, make sure you’ve updated your graphics drivers to the latest ones available on the NVIDIA site. The black options menu is pretty strange, and almost certainly related to the graphics settings.
Another thing to double check is that your NVIDIA graphics profile settings are set to use the high performance GPU at all times. These settings can be found by right clicking in the desktop background and launching the NVIDIA Control Panel.
