Regarding Query 1, you can increase the Windows scaling factor. RIght click on Windows desktop and go to Display Settings. Under "Scale and layout" section, in the % of size of text. See below snapshot showing this option. Let me knwo if this helps.
Regarding query 2, the image indicates that you are noy able to see the options - Chart, Probe under Display Type. This seems to be strange. WHich version of Discovery Live are you using? Can you upgrade to the latest one? Also, can you update the graphics card drivers directly from Nvidia website and see if that helps to get all the options visible in the monitor panel?
