I did not understand, which discovery product you are using.
If you are using Discovery AIM, there is a provision to define an orthotropic material, where you can define Young's modulus in X, Y, and Z direction and Poisson's ratio and shear modulus in XY, YZ, and XZ direction (refer image). You can then compare the simulation results with the tensile strength accordingly. You can refer to AIM documentation for more information.
