SubscriberWhen setting the rotation speed in LS-PREPOST. Please tell me how to convert rad/s to mm? Those. the speed will be determined by the movement of the drill a distance around its axis.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
The tangenntial speed is v = omega*radius(mm). You can use the radius of the drill in mm and the tangential speed you want to calculate the rotation speed (omega = v/r). Here is more information:

Ansys EmployeeWith the speed you can calculation displacement. Assuming a constant speed, you can calculate a displacement based on the time. For example, if you need a displacement of 10 mm in 1 second, then the constant speed will be 10 mm/s. You can then calculate the rotation speed using the equation above.
