SubscriberI am a channel partner, Rand, but need help with our customer account, 1079349:
This customer owns 1 x ANSYS Discovery (Named User) – Lease, and when they log into their account there are no assets listed.
Will you please take a look at this, and also, please send us the link where the customer should be logging in, as we are never sure if we are in the right portal; some of the problem here is that we cannot find the original email that was sent out to the customer.
Thank you,
Rachel

Ansys EmployeeHello Rachel Gaul The welcome email was sent to Rob LeBlanc. I have resent the welcome email to the same email id. I see in my database that the Licenses have not been assigned to any user. Please advice the customer to assign the licenses to himself or to any user email id and then login with that email id after launching the application, to activate. For more details on Named user license administration, please check this video.🛈 This post originally contained file attachments which have been removed in compliance with the updated Ansys Learning Forum Terms & Conditions-

SubscriberThank you. We did try this earlier but the system says there are no subscriptions, I believe seeing that there was not Administration button or nothing under it when clicked and the other menu item had nothing under it either. Can you provide the email address to Rachel or I that was used so that we login to the correct account?

SubscriberSubashni This is reply from Rand Tech Support: We had been logging in under discoveryforum.ansys.com
We checked both his emails and they don’t have subscriptions under them
I just got off a meeting with him and I just sent him that address, he said logging into https://myaccount.ansys.com/mysubscriptions
Is exactly the same result, no subscriptions

The email id in our records is rob@ekinetics.com. Could you please and let me know if it is the correct email address?

SubscriberSubashni, Please go ahead and change the email on the account from rob@ekinetics.com (this is wrong) to rob.leblanc@fathomstudio.ca …it looks like there was a misunderstanding on the email from perhaps the origination of the account. We want all the subscription entitlement assets on the account tied to rob.leblanc@fathomstudio.ca . Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeI have assigned as Administrator. The customer should be able to assign the licenses to himself or other users as required from Administrator tab on his 'My Accounts' page.
Let me know if you see any issues with that.
