2D Axisymmetric Cylinder Model Help

  Hello,
  I'm trying to build a 2D Axisymmetric Cylinder Model and was wondering how to sketch 2 objects/materials together. It's a stainless steel cylinder with a plastic syringe inside. Every time I try to sketch 2 rectangles together the software assumes it's the same object.
  Please advise, I'm really struggling

  Which geometry tool? You may need to sketch the whole surface and then split/slice out the smaller section. Have a look at the tutorials (click on Help).
