Ansys EmployeeThis indicates that either the min edge length is too small, the simulation has long and thin layer, has curved surface on a flat surface, or locally strong electric fields, or locally strong doping so to need fine mesh. You can also increase the iteration limits, minimize the triangle quality, minimize sensitivity, choose "disable interface mesh refinement". Anyway you need to relax the mesh refinement.
