SubscriberHi all, I am attempting to solve a model in Mechanical 19.1 with 2475 nodes and 1968 elements. When attempting to solve the following is displayed in solver output:
Error! Number of nodes exceeded for Academic Teaching version - nodes limited to 25600.
The error seems to be similar to the one discussed here:
https://forum.ansys.com/forums/topic/numerical-problem-size-limits-with-a-model-that-should-run/
I have attempted to share topology as suggested here but the error still persists.
https://forum.ansys.com/forums/topic/shared-topology-to-replace-bonded-contact/?postbadges=true
The model is attached below.
edit 1: the error is replicated when I start a new model from scratch.
edit 2: i am using Citrix Receiver virtual software to access ansys. Could this be a network problem?
edit 3: problem appears to be caused by using a Euler reference frame for a solid and not limiting the maximum number of Euler cells
