Hi, The student version "Academic Teaching Introductory" doesn't work. When I click on Solve button the calculation will block. I'm trying to follow the Cornell University webinar but with the 2019 R2 release I can't work. Is there someone who knows if the student version is so limited?

      Thank You

      Material Assignment

      1) when I try to change the material property I go to geometry and to SYS/surf, then I click on it and below appairs the material raw where an arrow-button should open a pop-up window and it should show me all the functions/options I can use. Instead, popup window is totally empty. So I have found another way as show in the images above. 2) The solution never complete the calculation, why?THNAK YOU

For #1 , I recommend to post the question in Physics Simulation -> Structural Mechanics section

For #2 , if you just create a text box , then use static structural with default material assignment, add simple BC's and solve, do you get the same issue ?

      Hello,

for #2, What do you mean with "if you just create a text box"? In general I'm trying to resolve a thermal steady-state problem with T = cost on one side, dT/dn=0 for two walls and a convection heat exchange on the last one.

for #1, May you give me the link of Physics Simulation -> Structural Mechanics section?

      THANK YOU

The purpose of #2 is to test whether a simple analysis/model has this same issue.

For #1, when you create a new thread (the New Discussion button), in the Choose Category box , you can select Physics Simulation -> Structural Mechanics section
