SubscriberHello,
I have a simple beam that is fixed at one end. Now I want to apply a short pulse to the beam that triggers the beam to twist in rotational Y-Direction, see picture. Is it possible in LS DYNA to apply such an acceleration?
Thank you for your help!

SubscriberAn trick to do that is just make an rigid body at the end and have a bonded contact and set the rotational velocity in required direction, in this way you are actually mimicking the real life torsion test and serves your need and make sure you define some kind of NL properties for better results and try your case in implicit fr stable and more feasible results. nComment down your results for better help and supportnCheers, nRamnViewing 2 reply threads- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
