Hello dear

I want to perform ballistic test on Carbon fiber. I built a model and import it in Explicit dynamics but it is showing error that "solid layer section is not allowed in current analyses".

If it's thick laminates, you can use solid elements in Mechanical to model each layer with its own thickness and material directions by assigning the elements with different materials. nIf it's thin laminates, you can use shell elements with layered section defined either in Mechanical GUI or layup information transferred from ACP. nExplicit Dynamics system won't take solid elements from ACP.n
