SubscriberPlease tell me what ANSYS license you have.
Did you download the free ANSYS Student 19.1? If so, that has the Explicit Dynamics system that uses the AUTODYN solver, which is similar to LS-DYNA. LS-DYNA is not included with the Student license.
Or do you have an Academic or Research license that includes LS-DYNA? If so, then you ask the ASC for your institution to provide the LS-DYNA media, including the ACT for Workbench to create models for LS-DYNA, which can be downloaded from the Customer Support Portal.
If you are on the free Student license, you can't get an account on the Customer Support Portal.

SubscriberCan I solve all conditions at single time in autodyn

SubscriberExplicit Dynamics can do all three conditions. What aspect of the problem you want to simulate requires Explicit Dynamics instead of implicit dynamics? Transient Dynamics can handle nonlinear materials and contact using the implicit solver. This may solve your problem in less time than the explicit solver.

SubscriberI'm working on project similarto air bag
Can I simulate inflammation of bag ,folding of bag and explicit analysis ,non linear material, contacts
Using ansys 19.1 if not in which way
Whether in autodyn I can do it?
Or act LS DYNA WORKBENCH is need ? To do
Kindly help! -

AdministratorHello,
I've moved your question to the Structural Mechanics thread to ensure it gets the necessary traction it deserves.
Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeHi Raju, I would recommend you to use the LS-DYNA ACT as there are very specific tools build to deal with such problems.
Please see these sections of the help.
Regards,
Sandeep
