Hi So I bought Ansys SpaceClaim and now I'm trying to activate my license. I finally managed to assign subscription to my account, then I downloaded & installed software. Next step was to launch it and log in through my Ansys account. And this is the step where the problem happens. When I try to log in I get two error messages: First one is: - Unable to initialize activation storage on system and the second one is: - There are no current Ansys subscriptions (...). I tried to follow the 1, 2, 3 and 4 steps from this topic: https://discoveryforum.ansys.com/t/q5gwjy and even turning off the firewall, but it still get the same results. What more can I do to activate my license?

        Hello  Lukas

Pawel Ramian had the same issue and it was identified that the problem was due to the presence of special characters in the Windows Login name. Changing the windows login name which does not contain any special characters fixed the issue. Can you check if this is the same case at your end? If yes, can you change the Windows login name as suggested and let me know how it goes? This special character issue has been fixed in R19.2 version whose release is scheduled in next month.

Lukas Please keep in mind that I had to reinstall Windows and change my user name while installing. Changing the name only in account settings (from "Paweł" to "Pawel") didn't help in this case.

Pawel Ramian  Thank you, this is the good notice. The problem is likely to be in this, because customer use PC name "VÝROBA". I will keep you informed.
