adding temperature loss back in periodic boundary condition

      Hi,

      • Flow through a pipe with constant wall heat flux.
      • The attached image is without periodic boundary conditions.

      What to do?

      • I want to implement periodic boundary conditions at the inlet and outlet such that the loss in temperature along the streamlined direction is needed to add back to the inlet.

      The problem?

      • Normal periodic boundary conditions try to maintain the same temperature at the inlet and outlet. Which is unphysical.

      Yeh, that problem is solved, but the problem im discussing here is different.

      Periodic with temperature should give a pseudo dT along the length of the domain based on the inlet temperature and flux. The axial plane looks right, I can't tell about the periodic surfaces.
