Adjoint solver

  I am trying to optimise a design to obtain uniform flow. The mass flux variance which I set as observables is decreasing but after the adjoint optimization, no noticeable changes is observed even though the mass flux variance dropped from 0.176 to 0.0042. Please how can I solve this issue?
