Hello everyone,

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit, Intel Pentium B960 2.20 GHz, 6GB RAM

I have big problem. After launch Ansys AIM 18.2 (student version) i have error - Ansys Workbench has stopped working.


I know, that this is problem with C++ dll, so I removed every C++, removed ansys, restarted computer, checked registry (sfc /scannow in cmd window and with ccleaner), restarted computer, installed C++ w(this what is added in ansys installation files folder), restarted computer, installed ansys again, restarted computer and launch it again, and problem still existing. Im very frustrated of this situation, because i'm installing this for 3 days and i have still this problem!

What is strange, normal ANSYS workbench working normally


What's going on?

Did you install both ANSYS Student 18.2 and ANSYS AIM 18.2?

If you installed ANSYS Student 18.2, it appears that AIM is available. It isn't. You have to also install AIM 18.2

Or you can just install AIM 18.2

Also, update your graphics card driver to the latest version.
