SubscriberI want to do a transient analysis with a geometry and its boundary conditions already set up in AIM. If possible, how do I transfer the geometry+mesh+boundary conditions to the mechanical app?
Also, is there an example available of an object drop impact analysis? That is the transient analysis i want to do.

SubscriberI installed AIM, made a Static Structural model, then found the Transfer to Mechanical tile in AIM 19.2
Once I had done that, I had access to the Project Workbench. The Study and Mechanical analysis blocks were created. I was able to drag a Transient Structural analysis block and drop it in the Mechanical Model cell to create the system below.
I have noticed that an archive created in what looks like Workbench cannot be opened in ANSYS Workbench, an error message says this file must be opened in AIM, so the data have not really been exported from AIM and into Mechanical. I have demonstrated how to do Transient Dynamics in AIM.
Regards,
Peter
