Air age statistics

  Hi All,
  
  I am trying to extract some air age statistics as described in the figure below.
  
  I want to know if I can get that only by Fluent UDF or there is an easy way to do it.
  
  Any valuable thoughts about it, is very welcome.

  There are various tracer methods. That'll work in exactly the same way as in an experimental system.
  
  Pathlines have a residence time.
  
  Finally, you can use a scalar method, which may require a UDF depending on how you're modelling the fluid density.
