all time steps data export

I am conducting numerical analysis of two-dimensional convection flow using Ansys Fluent in Ansys student 2020.

Could you show me how to export the data of all the time steps, at a time, to a csv file, please?

At the moment I can only export the data of each time step one by one, or first download all the data as a CFD-Post file and then export it to a csv file, both of which are very time-consuming methods.

Have a look at the text interface and use that to export the data you want. That command can be used in "Execute Commands" to then save data during the simulation. Or, as a journal if you already have all of the data.

Use %t to add the time step number to the data file name.

      thank you for your answer.

      Excuse me. what is %t

      thank you for your answer.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge, what are journal files and %t?

By the way, at present, the analysis result is "FFF-1-00001.dat.gz~FFF-1-03600.dat.gz" for each time step, and 3600 this file already exists for each time step.

%t in a Fluent file name will add the time step number, this makes the label unique for each time step. You also need to sort the file name out in Autosave.

Journal files are instructions to tell Fluent what to do, usually used to avoid repetitive work.

Is it possible to output the data of each time step to one text file with automatic file saving?

With monitors, yes. The data files are saved for each time step.

Sorry to hear you over and over

Is there a way to export the results of all time steps into one text file instead of each time step?

If you mean the data files, then no. If you mean the results of surface or volume monitors then yes. In CFD the data files for a single time step can be many gigabytes, trying to include all of the data into such a file wouldn't be wise.
