SubscriberHello all,
I need aluminium honeycomb core orthotropic properties to model sandwich structure. Can you help me?
I dont know the required orthotropic properties.
Thanking you

Subscriberpeteroznewman Thank you sir!
I understand that. But I need to put it as a reference in a report, so that I need the source of this honeycomb data.
Please give me any data sheet related to this.
regards

SubscriberAre you writing a report about a specific honeycomb sandwich structure that you have experimental data for?
Or are you writing a report about a potential choice of a honeycomb core that you could put in a specific design?
The link above shows the data came from Plascore.

SubscriberThank you peter.
However, In the link Relevant post some of the datas like elastic modulus in compressive direction and shear along L and W direction only given. Poisson's ratio not at all given. How do you know poisson's ratio is 0.066? also how did you calculated the elastic and shear modulus for other directons?
regards
