SubscriberHello everybody
I'm trying to simulate a bonded double cantilever beam with adhesive. I'm looking for the load-displacement curve of this study to compare with the experimental curve.

I believe that the main issue has to do with the crack front nodes. I think that the fixed support 'B' indicated in the figure above may be causing some issues due to its placement near the crack opening. In case that is the issue then please try to suppress it and re-run the simulation.
In case you get the same error then try to look at the crack front nodes if they seem to be off i.e. the entire crack front edge is not included in the nodal named selection (Try to create a named selection for the crack edges based on nodal location). If you see that not all the nodes are included in the nodal named selection as should be for crack then a geometry correction might be needed.
