I want to simulation a muffler in ANSYS harmonic acoustic 19.0

then the result will compared with experimental data

how do i set the right frequency? how does it affect if the frequency I enter is too large or too small?

       Hi ilham,

You can specify whatever frequency you are interested in, eg if you run your experiment at range of 1000-2000 Hz, you can set up the same range in your simulation. However keep in mind the mesh size should change based on your frequency too. You need to have 12 elem per wavelength for linear element and 6 elem per wavelength for quadratic element.
