Ansys 17.0 License Manager Fails to Open

  Hello,
  I have recently installed Ansys 17.0 and the License Manager will not even start/open. I can successfully open/load ICEM CFD, and then it soon fails because it cannot connect to a license. I am unsure why this is happening - there did not seem to be any issues with installation. I have also installed the exact same version (using the same installation file) on another PC previously without issue. I am not sure if it is relevant but I am using a university run Windows 10 laptop.
  Has anyone else had this problem before? Does anyone know why the License Manager will not start?

  Ansys 17.0 is no longer a supported release. Do you have an Ansys issued license specifically for this one laptop machine? Or are you trying to just run ICEM 17.0 and connect to an existing University license server?
