SubscriberHello,
I am having trouble with ANSYS 2019 R2 FLUENT.

Ansys EmployeeIf the code is running are there any errors in the solver?
-

michaelmaalouly
SubscriberNo errors appear in the solver while the code is running.
I run my simulations overnight, and it has happened twice now: I start the simulation, come the next day to check on it and I find that FLUENT crashed and that the program closed.

Ansys EmployeeAre you using ANSYS Student version ?
What graphics card do you have on the machine ?
Open CMD Prompt, and issue the following command
"C:Program FilesANSYS IncShared FilesLicensingwinx64ansysli_util" -statli 2325@localhost > C:Tempstat.log
wait for a minute, then open C:Tempstat.log with notepad (or any text editor tool) and copy the entire content of it and post it here

Ansys EmployeeHi michaelmaalouly,
Thank you for the info.
Please try the following in this order
-Update the driver of your NVIDIA Quadro P1000 to the latest available according to Nvidia website (https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us)
-Right click on the desktop then launch Nvidia Control Panel >> Manage 3D settings >> set Preferred graphics processor to be "High-performance NVIDIA processor”.
-Fluent Launcher -> Show More Options -> Environment , then add this
LAUNCHER_FLUENT_OPTIONS=-driver opengl
Thanks,
