SubscriberGood morning, nOur organisation has recently upgraded our ANSYS licence file and server management software. The bundle we purchased from ANSYS staff is the Academic Multiphysics Campus Solution - Research version. nThe explicit feature name optimetrics is not part of this bundle. One of our subscribers is trying to run a simulation using this feature, and reported its absence. Is there a feature that replaces optimetrics?Regards,nnCMC Microsystems technical staffnKingston, Ontario.n -

Ansys EmployeeOptimetrics has been removed as part of the new Electronics packaging. This new licensing eliminates Optimetrics/DSO licenses and instead uses HPC for running parametric analyses. Rather than consuming ?ansoft_distrib_engine? licenses, which no longer exist, parametric or Optimetrics runs will utilize additional HPC licenses.nThe details for HPC license usage with Optimetrics can be found in our Help documentation.nhttps://ansyshelp.ansys.com/Views/Secured/Electronics/v211/en/Subsystems/Maxwell/Content/SettingHPCandAnalysisOptions.htmnnTo calculate the HPC needs for an analysis you can make use of this calculator.nhttps://www.ansys.com/other/parametricnnThanks,nMattn -
