SubscriberWhat should i do for making them being almost the same?Im finding actual displacement different from equivalent displacement at Hydrostatic results, despite center of buoyance and center of gravity have the correct values. What should i change?

Ansys EmployeeHi, to change the actual displacement, you can change the draft of your structure in the SpaceClaim/DesignModeler by moving the whole structure up or down along the Global z-axis. However, this may change the position of the buoyance centre. To change the equivalent displacement, you can adjust the point mass mass value. You can also choose "Program Control" for point mass, which allows the program defines the point mass mass value based on the actual displacement.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
