Ansys Discovery 2022 R2 – Licensing issue

      Hello, 

       

      We are having an issue where when Ansys Discovery is installed and launched, the licenses are not being detected on the user profiles.

      Would you be able to assist please

      Do you have the Discovery Named user license or the Floating license?

        Subashni It is the discovery named user license we have

      You will need to set the Licensing mode to Subscription/Named user during installation.
      Although, you can change this by launching the Discovery Licensing mode manager from the Start Menu> Ansys 2021 R2 with "Run as Admin" option.

      Then select the "Subscription" option and click Save. (refer image)


      Also, I see no subscriptions assigned to this email id, can you please check if licenses were assigned to you by the Admin?

        Subashni Thanks for the assistance.

         

        I have located the above, and set it to subscription, with the scope set to Current user.

        Unfortunately it still cannot see the license once launched. 

        The licenses were assigned by the admin, does this need checked again? Where would he assign these?

      I see that no subscriptions have been assigned to your id yet.

      Please check the Subscription administration video in the below link for information on how to assign subscriptions.
