ANSYS Discovery Live : GTX TITAN XP and Geforce support?

I contacted both Nviia and PNY and both say that only Quadros with over 4GB VRAM are supported.

Per Nvidia directly , the supported cards don't even include the P1000 which is likely false since PNY's site lists the P1000.

Is there any intention of including a list of cards supported by the program?

I currently own a Quadro P2000 5GB (Pascal) but if I can obtain a GTX TITAN X Pascal for as much as a Quadro P4000 (Pascal, GTX 1070 level) I will use that instead. As far as I know the GTX TITAN X Pascal and GTX TITAN xP cards have obtained the professional (i.e. Quadro driver optimizations) after the launch of AMD's VEGA FE but not the GTX TITAN X Maxwell.

I also have an AMD GPU but I highly doubt that there will be any traction with ANSYS on OpenCL. ANSYS seems entrenched in CUDA.

The installer site states for the Student version (which as far as I know is for any noncommercial use and not just Students) :

Graphics Card: A dedicated NVIDIA GPU card (Quadro recommended) based on the Kepler, Maxwell or Pascal architecture. Maxwell 2000 or better strongly recommended. Most dedicated NVIDIA GPU cards produced in 2013 or later will be based on one of these architectures.
