ANSYS DPM Particle Trajectory Equation

  Hi in the ANSYS Manual, I saw this equation for the drag force. Could you please let me know how to derive the expression of FD in terms of Cd and Re?
  
  where is an additional acceleration (force/unit particle mass) term, is the drag force per unit particle mass and
  
  $F_D = \frac{1 8 \mu}{\rho_p d^{2}_{p}} \;\; \frac{C_D {\rm Re}}{24}$
