Ansys EmployeeHi jwong17,
Can you check with the license server admin to see if at least one of these licenses still valid on the license server ?
Thanks,
Win

SubscriberSo right now I am using my license on my personal laptop.
I was able to get a trial version of the software and when I asked if I could just put the license on my personal computer I was told it would be fine.
It was working fine before today but for whatever reason this license error appeared.

SubscriberIs there a way to just generate a new license instead of changing my computer's time to the future? (I think that if I do this it will mess up my other applications on my computer.)
The reason I ask is that I have 5 licenses with my trial and I am the only one using this software. If the answer is yes should I get in touch with my point of contact that helped me with getting the license first.

Ansys EmployeeDon't need to run that tools. That tools is used only for Mechanical and Fluids products.
The issue is not about the license file and you should not change your computer time to future. You should search your systems for the file(s) with future date. This is a mechanism in FlexNet licensing to check for the 'current date' and to prevent people from changing their own computer date back to the past to make licenses valid. The reason that it doesn't check the current time/date on internet is because FlexNet licensing can be used without computer accessing internet. You can also find this same issue for other software using FlexNet for their floating license technology.
Thanks,
Win
