Ansys error or bug

Hello everyone. I am trying to model the repeated fall of one element on the other in a transient analysis in order to predict the deformation of the second element after multiple impacts. The first element must fall under its own weight (gravity).

I use acceleration, in it I use gravity data. After each fall, I return the first element back up with a short acceleration, but it does not move. This is my problem:

When the acceleration vector reverses in a 3-step solution, the mass does not fall back to the end it started from.

      Help please.

I would recommend doing this for only the first 4 load steps for one complete squarewave. Also, when you are applying acceleration in a positive direction the body will start accelerating in that direction, and even if the acceleration direction is reversed, it may continue some distance due to inertia, you can test this hypothesis by changing the time for the third step. Also, not sure why acceleration changes in z-direction in your model.

yes it was a bug, but it doesn't affect the whole solution, i fixed it

yes i tried that, same thing happens

I have attached screenshots of contacts and settings:
