ANSYS error

  Please can someone help me?
  
  I am having mesh failure on the model shown below due to self- intersecting surface. But in design modeler fault detection, I can't find any faults with the model.

  What question are you trying to answer with your model?
  
  A single solid body is not appropriate to model a suspension bridge.
  Learn about Beam and Link elements that are meshed on Line Bodies.
  That is what you want for at least the thin vertical cables.
