SubscriberHi,
I installed Ansys 2019R2. Every module is working except Ansys Fluent which hangs at startup just after:
MPI Option Selected: ibmmpi
Selected system interconnect: default
After that Ansys fluent did not respond for a long time...
I am using Windows 7 64Bit with Nvidia Quadro 600 Graphics Card.
Kindly help to solve the issue.

Ansys EmployeeOpen CMD Prompt, then issue this command
"%awp_root194%fluentntbinwin64fluent.exe" -r19.4.0 3d -g -t0
does this hang ? Or does it show the line that says "Cleanup script file......"
Also, what is the output of this command (Please post the screenshots of the entire output, or you can just copy paste the text and post it in here)
"%awp_root194%..Shared FilesLicensingwinx64ansysli_util" -statli 2325@localhost
Thanks,
Win

Ansys Employeehmm, this is odd.
What about these two commands
"%awp_root194%fluentntbinwin64fluent.exe" -r19.4.0 3d -g -t2
"%awp_root194%..Shared FilesLicensingwinx64ansysli_util" -checkout FLUENT_SOLVER

SubscriberThe crash and hang of fluent was caused due to fault in module dx11_2300_x64.hdi. I simply rename this module and fluent start working. This module exists in fluent.exe directory. Now, fluent is using dx9_2300_x64.hdi, as I understand Since this also in the same directory.
Screenshots:
Problem/Message:
CX1940.EXE has stopped working due to fault in module dx11_2300_x64.hdi
This module located at "C:Program FilesANSYS Incv194fluentntbinwin64"
Renaming dx11_2300_x64.hdi to dx11_2300_x64_old.hdi resolves the fluent hanging and crash problem. Fluent solver successfully launched and working properly.
I don't know why this module giving error, likely due to windows update/security requirements, direct X compatibility etc. My OS is Windows 7 X64.
I did not check the command "%awp_root194%..Shared FilesLicensingwinx64ansysli_util" -statli 2325@localhost
as I think now it is no use.

Ansys EmployeeCan you post the screenshots of the resolution you've described, so others can easily follow in the future ?
Do you get this command working now ?
"%awp_root194%..Shared FilesLicensingwinx64ansysli_util" -statli 2325@localhost
