SubscriberEdit: im new to ANSYS so hence the possible silly question, i assumed the 8/4 to be cores. so i opened a new setup with 4 cores and it worked, but i chose 8 cores when using 2020, how is it that i have to use less cores due to it being Version 2021? nJanuary 25, 2021 at 1:56 pmANSYS_MMadore
Ansys EmployeeThere was a change to the Academic licensing with 2021. You should continue to run with 4 cores, that is what is provided going forward.nnThanksnMattnViewing 2 reply threads- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
