Ansys GRANTA Research Advanced Materials – Installation

A faculty member at our university has purchased a license for ANSYS Granta, but we have no clue which software to download. The license file says Products licensed in this file: Ansys GRANTA Research Advanced Materials - Eco: 1 task(s) Lease expiring 16-Feb-2024

We tried GRANTA EduPack since we are at a college, but that didn't seem to be the right product. Here are the options I see on our downloads page in the customer portal:

What should we be downloading and installing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jordan, You will have to download, extract and install Ansys Granta Selector Package (the first box). After installation, when you launch the Granta Selector for the first time, it will ask you to select the Advanced Data bundles to checkout for the session. Go ahead and choose 'Eco Design' and proceed. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, as soon as we launch Selector, we are given the below license error. When you click OK, the program closes:

Looking at our license file, you can see that indeed it does not include any feature called "granta_selector." The only feature listed in our license is "granta_spl_mat_bundle_7." Here's a screenshot of our license:

Is there a different program we should we downloading and installing?

Thanks for sharing more information on the increments available inside the license file. I think you should be installing the EduPack Granta.. I just downloaded it and during the installation, it asks you to choose the programs where you can select 'Eco Design' and proceed. You can skip other packages as under advanced as they need other license packages to run. Hope this answers your question. Sorry about the confusion in my previous comment.

We get a very similar error message when running Granta EduPack:

It's again looking for a feature that's not listed in our license file.

      Any other ideas?
