Ansys EmployeeGenerally negative fluxes on a boundary mean material/energy is leaving the system. If you plot temperature how does it compare to the set temperature on that boundary?

SubscriberThank you for the response Mr. Rwoolhou.
I listed the temperature on path 1 and one of the nodes had a temperature of 67.953 F (which is a little less than 68 F from the convection boundary). Would this mean that the heat flux is going into the concrete?

Ansys EmployeeIf the temperature on the outside is lower than on the inside heat will leave the domain. I don't know enough about Mechanical results to know if a single node would cause that: in CFD I'd look at area average temperature.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
