Can you please look into the text file you must have received and search to confirm if there is a referrence to "Disc_ult" .
Also please go through this post and ensure that the installation steps mentioned are followed meticulously.
If all looks good so far, please share the diagnostic files with us for further debugging. Here is how you can do this.
Thanks & Regards,
Gaurav

SubscriberHi Gaurav,
Thanks for the prompt help. I sent the diagnostic files to the email.
What I don't know is what kine of text file you meant.
However, I have found some text files from the download.
So I tried to find the text 'Disc_ult'. I am not sure if I did correct. If not please let me know, I will search it again.

it seems you have wrongly selected "floating" as the mode while you have subscription based trial license.
This can be quickly fixed by switching the license mode. Go to Windows Start menu, ANSYS 19.3 folder and open "Discovery Licensing Mode Manager". In this panel, select "Subscription" as the licensing mode (refer below snapshot), then click Save and Exit.
Please do give it a try and let me know if this helps you fix the issue.
Best Regards,
Gaurav

It seems the firewall settings at your end are restricting discovery products from establishing a connection with cloud based license server.
Please follow steps 5 & 6 of this troubleshooting document and that should help.
Best Regards,
Gaurav

Thanks a lot. It will take some time I guess. Yesterday out IT tried some from there.
ANSYS Installation and operation is a lot complicated than other softwares. Even if the software itself very comprehensive.
