Ansys EmployeeHello, it seems that it is postprocessing issue. I would strongly recommend to update to later versions. We have implemented several improvements and enchancements, including a fix for the problem you faced.

SubscriberHello, thank you for your response. I have updated ANSYS Electronics Desktop to version 2023 R2, and the previous issue has been resolved. However, I have encountered a new challenge. In the new version, I create an arc path with an angle of 359 degrees in the middle of airgap to calculate the air-gap magnetic field. However, when I try to generate the mesh, the mesh generator is unable to create a mesh, and the software hangs. Conversely, if I delete the arc path, the mesh generator works as expected. I have assigned mesh operations with a length-based setting of 1mm=g for both the outer rotor and the arc path edges. However, the problem persists. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Ansys EmployeeHello, I would suggest to draw a whole circular arc to avoid inconsistencies in mesh, or even create an inner region.

SubscriberHello. In Ansys Electronics 2020, I was able to draw a center point arc polyline with a radius of 359.9 degrees and perform meshing and analysis. However, in Ansys Electronics 2023, when using the same model and geometry, meshing could not be completed by drawing the center point arc polyline. The issue lies in the inability to draw a complete circular arc with 360 degrees. If I create an inner region with a circle, I won't be able to generate a rectangular plot of airgap flux density (Bav) because, during reporting in the new report window, I select the drawn polyline from the geometry field and then generate the report.
