      Dear All

I want to know if it is possible to use Ansys result in writing UDF code, for example in defining material properties.

We use UDFs to define material properties, is that what you mean?

Do you want to change UDF depending on results?

      Please explain.

Moving this to Fluid Dynamics category for better response.

      Regards,

No. Let me explain in this way. I wrote a code and input the equation of fluid velocity as inlet. Now I want to define the properties of a material placing in the middle of my model and these properties depend on fluid velocity at those elements which should be calculated by Ansys. Is this possible to write such this code as UDF?

      Hello,

As mentioned by Rob, you should be able to use UDFs to customize material properties. Yes, you can make them a function of fluid velocities. The macro you are looking for is DEFINE_PROPERTY. Please refer to the link below to take a look at some examples of UDFs written with this macro.
