Good morning.
While modeling using SpaceClaim's linear pattern function, I have a question and leave a post.
First, modeling was carried out as in the attached image #1.
The upper left part was modeled first and then modeled at 11x11 equal intervals using a linear pattern.
However, if you change the number displayed on the screen after clicking the pattern in the model tree, the pattern is created in the center of the pattern, not the starting point. (Image2)
Also, if you change the number in the layout in the property tab after clicking the pattern, the pattern starts at the starting point of the pattern. (Image3)I think that if you change the number for the pattern shown on the screen, it should be modified like the layout in the property tab. I would like you to check if this is just a bug or if it is correct to change based on the center.
Thank you.

I was able to reproduce the issue that you mentioned here. I think the behavior of pattern should be consistent irrespective of the way the pattern count is being modified. I will submit a bug for this issue and will let you know the bug number.

SubscriberThank you for answer. However, I am trying to optimize the Fin shape by specifying the setting for this linear pattern as a parameter. If this bug is a problem with the direction I want to proceed, I will contact you again later. Thank you.

SubscriberNaresh Patre Thank you for answer.
I think I can understand your answer and respond to the customer first.
However, it would be nice to modify it in the next version about changing the pattern by clicking on the pattern in the model tree.
And when you use the method you told me now, if you select a part other than the first modeling part, the pattern is changed based on the selected face.

I have submitted BUG 457743 for the linear pattern issue and will let you know once it gets resolved. meanwhile, please use the workarounds that were mentioned in this discussion.
