Hi there,

I just downloaded and installed Ansys student software on my laptop. I always get like 50 of these errors when I run Workbench 19.2., then app is empty, cannot even create new project.

I did everything as described on websites, same procedure as many of my collegues, but for them everything works. I tried reinstall, redownload, nothing helps.

Any ideas?

Hi David,

Can you look in the c:program filesansys incinstall.log and install.err files for any errors?

If there are, can you please post screenshot of those errors?

Additionally can you verify that your username doesn't have any "special" characters in it?  If it does, can you try changing your username and see if that helps?

Hi david.ryvol,

Don't install software under your unzipped folder. If possible, just install it to the default directory, C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Student.

I got no errors during installation and unless a "space" is special character, then I have no special characters in my username

Can you try changing the default language of your Windows to English ?

I can not, it only allows me Czech languge

OK I managed to change language to english, deleted special character from my PC name and installed it to unzipped instalation folder...

Not sure which of this helped or if all of this needs to be done together, but it works now, thanks
