Ansys Student 18.1 License file renewal

  Hello, I have been using Ansys Student 18.1 for a while and my license expired on 31st October.
  
  I would like to renew it but I have not been able to find the new license file to download. Do I have to download again the whole software in order to get the new licensing file?

  Hello Gabrielorz,
  
  Version 18.1 has a built in license and wont expire until August 2018. You can also download the newest version from ANSYS website (v18.2)

  Thanks for your early respond. As I understand it version 18.1 has a built in license that I can not change for a new one, I have to reinstall 18.1 or upgrade to 18.2 in order to create a new built-in license?

  That's correct but V18.1 expiry date is August 2018.
