SubscriberHello, I am having an issue with workbench 2022 R1. I recently installed 2022 R1 onto my workstation with my Academic Research license installed on a seperate server on LAN. When opening workbench, I get an error that reads
"Connection timed out while reading data.
The application has stopped waiting for a reply.
The license server may be experiencing a high demand or a temporary outage. Try again later."I believe the license server is set up correctly, as when I start 2020 R2 workbench on the same workstation there are no licensing issues. I also believe the issue is workbench specific, as when I start FLUENT 2022 R1 directly there are no licensing issues either from what I can tell.
Please help me fix this issue as we must switch from 2020 R2 to 2022 R1 due to expiring licenses of sudent editions installed on other computers, as most pre and post work is done on other units.

Ansys EmployeeCan you please send the output of this command from your Windows command prompt?
set A
Please also ensure that you do not have an inactive license on the client machine under C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\license_files.

SubscriberWhen running set A in the cmd prompt, the return is
"

Also, I believe my folder structure is slightly different for some reason, as my licensing files are stored in their own folder. I have a license for 2020 R2 in that folder but not one for 2022 R1.

SubscriberHi, I also have a "connection timed out" problem like you. Ansys workbench 2021 and 2022 can't run on the workstation, while Ansys 2020 R2 has no issue related to licenses. Do you have a solution for this problem?
