Hi,nI have thermal cyclic load i.e. 20 cycles of thermal load where temperature rise from 16 to 60 degrees and each cycle is for 24 hours. So the total simulation time is 1728000 seconds of simulation. I wish to divide the simulation into 1728 steps so that each step can cover 1000 seconds, What will be my min, initial and max time step settings so that i can finish the simulation quickly.nPlease give a brief idea about the these time step settings as how they influence my simulation.nThanks.nn

Are you simulating creep in the material? nIf one cycle is to ramp from 16 to 60 and back, that would only require 2 steps/cycle. Therefore, you can do 20 cycles in 40 steps.nOr, you could do the simulation in 1 step and just have tabular data for the temperature cycles.n
