SubscriberHello,
My computational domain consists of a nozzle and its surroundings. The nozzle wall is thin (zero thickness) and seperates the inside of the nozzle from the outside. I would like the inside of the nozzle to be finely meshed and the outside of the nozzle to be relatively coarse.
However, when I apply an edge sizing to the nozzle wall, it applies to both sides of the wall. This results in an unnecessarily fine mesh of the outside of the nozzle.
I would like a way to apply edge sizing to one side of a shared wall. Are there any solutions to this problem?
Note that for my study it is necessary to apply an edge sizing to the wall rather than just face sizing. I also still need to be able to apply inflation layers in the interior.
Thank you in advance for your replies.

Ansys EmployeeIt will need non conformal mesh. Create one component for bodies of nozzle interior in SpaceClaim. Create second componnet for bodies of surrounding air. This will give non conformal interface in meshing.
