In MAPDL solver, acceleration can be applied to the specified fix support boundary condition to represent the seismic loading.nIn both Explicit Dynamics and LS-DYNA systems in Workbench, you can integrate the seismic acceleration wrt time to get the velocity history and then apply the velocity history in tabular form to the selected geometry entities to represent the seismic loading.nFurthermore, in LS-DYNA system seismic acceleration can also be applied directly to the selected body or bodies using Acceleration boundary condition and Scope Existing Acceleration. n
