Applying force and moment in symmetry

  Hi all,
  
  I inserted a symmetry plane in my model and I am not sure how to apply the loads correctly. I would like to put shear force in - y direction and moment around x in the selected surface. The other side has fixed support. You see my model down below.
  
  Am I correct if I use half of shear force and half of the moment to get the same stresses like in a full model?
  
  Where do I apply the loads, do I have to insert a coordinate system in my centroid of the surface or use a remote point?
