SubscriberHi All
I am trying to apply the loads on my model for a four points bending test simulation.
The maximum load I got from the experimental results is 3570 N.
How can I apply the load as in the experiment (applying the load linearly from zero until failure) ?
The purpose of the analysis is to check the calculated stresses Vs the stresses obtained from FEM.
Appreciate any help or guidance

SubscriberThanks a lot peter. These posts were very helpful.
Can I ask you please how to model the contact between the metal pads under the loading rollers and the panel ? so they don't add to the stiffness of the panel but distribute the load more uniformly and prevent premature failure of the backing fibreglass.
