I am doing a impeller mixing simulation. Every other parameter like radial velocity or pressure is normal. but the axial velocity is always 0. Does anyone knows why is that happen?

I request you to elaborate a bit so that we could understand the isssue better, like what is the problem you are solving, how are defining the problem and where did you observe this 0 axial velocity. If you could support it with appropriate screenshots, it would be more helpful.

It is a cylinder vessel, and it has an impeller with 1000rpm, I set a report to plot the volume average axial velocity in the vessel domain, but the result is always 0, the maximum axial velocity is also 0, every velocity in axial is 0, but in radial is normal.

Where are you plotting axial velocity? I can understand the average being zero in a closed system though.

Are you setting the axis of rotation right in your case? ( I assume 3D case).
